Modern poultry farming provides for industrial management of the industry, and this is accompanied by intensive use of the parent stock of birds. In such conditions, an egg is often selected for incubation from a bird of an early oviposition period and quite late, as well as a relatively small one. This negatively affects the hatchability indicators during incubation of such an egg. Inadequate feeding of the parent herd also has a negative effect on hatchability — both due to the imbalance of the diet in nutritional components, and bacterial contamination, increased content of mycotoxins, peroxides, etc .
Therefore, the use of various stimulators of embryo development during egg incubation is becoming increasingly relevant. This effect is possessed by various biologically active substances, such as probiotics, prebiotics, selenium-containing drugs, zinc glycinate, etc. Nevertheless, the search and development of the use of similar, as well as more effective substances, do not lose their relevance.
Such drugs include "ANTISEPTIC STIMULATOR D-2 FRACTION" produced by BIOSTIM LLC. The drug is a universal adaptogen and activates all aspects of the body's defense. By stimulating factors of nonspecific and specific immunity, the drug levels the depressing effect of glucocorticoids of the body, prevents the suppression of the thymic-lymphatic system and thereby reduces the development of immunopathy under stress. The effect of the drug in tissues is based on the activation of a number of enzyme systems, such as acetyl-choline – acetylcholinesterase, Na, K-ATPase, RNases, thiol enzymes [1]. The drug is characterized by pronounced immunostimulating, immunomodulating properties that increase the reactivity of the body, the hatchability of eggs, the hatching of chickens, as well as the productivity and viability of poultry [3]. It has an adrenergic effect, manifests itself as catecholamines and activates the enzyme adenylate cyclase. Prevents the depressing effect of hydrocortisone on lymphoid organs and adrenal glands [4].
Against the background of the use of the drug "ANTISEPTIC STIMULATOR D-2 FRACTION", activation of nonspecific and specific links of immune protection is noted. The concentration of properdin in the blood serum increases, the complement system is activated, phagocytosis, the number of B-lymphocytes is normalized, the level of immunoglobulins tends to normalize, relationships in subpopulations of T-lymphocytes are restored [1]. At the same time, under the influence of the drug, the reserve alkalinity of the blood increases [2], which also confirms its positive effect on the bird's body.
The experiment on the use of "ANTISEPTIC-STIMULATOR D-2 FRACTION" was carried out in the FSUE PPZ "Kuchinsky" on an incubation egg of chickens of the Kuchinskaya jubilee breed, obtained from a parent herd aged 193-210 days. According to the principle of analogues, 5 experimental and 1 control groups were formed, 2 trays of incubation eggs in each. The eggs of the experimental groups were treated after disinfection, aerosolized, from cylinders with a capacity of 300 ml, with a solution of "ANTISEPTIC-STIMULATOR D2-FRACTION" in concentrations of 5.15, 20, 30 and 50%. The treatment was carried out with an exposure of 10 seconds for each tray, evenly over the surface of the laid eggs, from a distance of 10 – 15 cm. The eggs of the control group were not processed. On the 18th day of incubation, when transferred to withdrawal, biological control of embryo development was carried out, the number of unfertilized eggs and blood rings was calculated.
At the output (21 days), the number of suffocated and live bred chickens is calculated, in accordance with the technology adopted in the farm.
The output results are presented in Table 1.

From the data in the table, we can conclude about the unconditional positive effect of aerosol treatment of hatching eggs with the drug "ANTISEPTIC STIMULATOR D-2 FRACTION". According to the results of biological control on the 18th day of incubation and at hatching, in all experimental groups, the indicators of embryo development and the hatching of viable chickens, in percentage terms, were better than in the control.
To the greatest extent, this applies to the group treated with a 15% solution of the drug.
The output was slightly higher in the group treated with a 20% solution of the drug. However, such a difference cannot be considered reliable, besides, the cost of a 20% solution of the drug will be higher than 15%. As for the number of suffocators, the control and experimental groups differed slightly by this indicator, their noticeable decrease in comparison with the control was found only when using a 15% solution of the drug.
If you make a calculation for 1000 incubated eggs, based on the cost of a daily chicken - 35 rubles. for 1 piece, and the cost of the drug spent on their processing (260 rubles), the use of the drug "ANTISEPTIC STIMULATOR D2-FRACTION 15% SOLUTION" in aerosol cans will allow you to get additional income 3730.00 rubles for every thousand incubated eggs. With the annual incubation of 1 million eggs, additional income will amount to 3730000 rubles per year. Now count on your livestock!
It should be noted as a positive factor of the form of the drug in aerosol cans and the fact that it is possible to apply it directly to the incubation egg, and this significantly enhances its effectiveness and significantly reduces the spread of unpleasant odors in the room, compared with aerosol treatment with the same drug in the disinfection chamber.
